What do I do first to S.H.I.F.T.?

Dear anyone that did or did not know what to do first when S.H.I.F.T. Powerful Planner and Journal for an Unapologetically Kick Ass Life arrived,



I don’t know about you, but I felt overwhelmed to start writing in it. It looks so pretty and inviting, but I was in disbelief that MY dream of completing it came true. I stared at it for a while. I mean–a good lonnngggng while.


I was afraid to write in it! I was afraid to do it wrong, or messy, or NOT do it perfectly or thinking I had to do it all at once. I am not alone on this, right? I was so excited to start something new and then when it came I did not know what to do first!


So, I put it in the F*ck It Bucket–I did nothing. Then, after it was in there for 24 hours, I scheduled time in my calendar to sit down with S.H.I.F.T. Powerful Planner and Journal just to read a page or two (like I had not written it) and skim through it.


The universe turned the open hour on my schedule into a couple of hours of free space. The universe, like me, knew I needed ceremonial and OMGness time to S.H.I.F.T.


My time with my S.H.I.F.T. Powerful Planner and Journal for an Unapologetically Kick Ass Life (as you can see in the pictures), was more than I imagined it to be. I got in perfect, magical mountain, inspirational nature flowing time! Which is what this dream workbook is all about–making shift happen.


The essence of S.H.I.F.T. is not about doing it perfectly. It is about doing it one page at a time.


So, if you are sitting with a beautiful (I am biased) copy of S.H.I.F.T. Powerful Planner and Journal for an Unapologetically Kick Ass Life and it is screaming your name or you’re still on the fence whether to start it–

Just do it! Just open it!


Just read the first page or any page–you don’t have to do it perfectly, in entirety, or in order. Flip through it. Grab a page that draws your attention. You can start anywhere in it. Or with only writing your name on the first page and making it yours. The great thing is, every one of the 488 pages tells you what to do or gives you a prompt. And at any point you want to stop–STOP! Or if you are confused–go back to the beginning where the tips and explanations are listed!
